1867 homeland centerHomeland’s story is one of committed individuals coming together to meet a pressing need. The support of caring members of our community like you has never been more necessary.

It is in that spirit that we invite you to join the 1867 Society of Homeland. A Society which was created to help us ensure Homeland’s tradition of never asking a resident to leave because of
financial reasons.

The 1867 Society of Homeland recognizes donors who make significant, tax-deductible
commitments to our endowment. As an acknowledgment of your generous gift, you will be
included on Homeland Center’s permanent donor wall and receive recognition in Homeland
newsletters and be included in future Society events.

Underscoring our pledge to always provide the highest level of quality care, Homeland Center
is a five-star Skilled Nursing and Personal Care community offering services to the aging
population of the greater Harrisburg area, including short-term rehabilitation and a safe and
secure environment for residents with a dementia related illness. Additionally, Homeland offers
compassionate “at home” services throughout the south central PA region with Hospice, Palliative Care, HomeHealth and HomeCare.

Time and again, families tell us how much it means to them knowing that mom or dad will enjoy the best of care, even if they exhaust their resources. Increasingly, however, the gap is growing between the actual cost of providing this quality care and the federal and state support we receive. Your tax deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of many for years to come.
